I was a lazy butt today...accidently slept in far past my wake up time. Started the day off feeling behind. Started my meals late as well. But strangely enough I didn't feel that "starving feeling." I think my stomach is getting used to being emptier instead of overly full. I don't know which is a more comforting feeling though. I guess emptier means loosing, where as overly full means gaining....just need to find the balance between the two I guess.
I am feeling much more in control this week which is a far better feeling then last week. I don't feel as if I am missing out on so much or that everything is TAUNTING me. Granted I wouldn't turn down a sandwich or a bowl of pasta or a bagel and cream cheese but I haven't gone out SEARCHING for them. I even went to the grocery store today all by myself. I made sure I was wearing my food blinders (what are those you ask.. I have no idea but it sounded good) and I grabbed what I needed and excited as soon as the "10 items or less line" would go. Don't you find that people in those lines have more issues with their orders etc and so they take longer even though they are suppose to be faster. (maybe it is just me).
I started work at my part time job today (I am a driving instructor). I made sure before I left that I had a couple of meals with me a full water bottle and a snack. I knew when I would be back and my life coach had dinner waiting for me.. so that the "crazies" didn't kick in. (love her she is the bestest) I felt pretty successful today. I have to admit I am glad that today is over. Everyday is one day closer to reaching my goal. YEAH for goals. Speaking of goals, I must be off to get started on my homework from my life coach. She is making me analyse my thoughts and food habits and all that stuff, like that has anything to do with losing weight and having a better body image! (insert sarcastic tone here.)
10 jumping jacks and silly victory dance performed now.
Love Angela
The "express lane" is a joke! Not only do customers not know how to count or have some other issue, but they always seem to put the slowest cashier on that lane.
