Dear Blog; Day 48

Saturday is a special day its the day we get to sleep innnnnnnn (ok this week that has kind of been everday, since I have been pretty sick). Actually I have to admit I did get up earlier then I have been all week because I went to see a really good movie this morning. (The Eagle with Channing Tatum, Hotty McHotterson) The down fall was this really annoying popcorn eater behind me. He had no movie popcorn eating etiquette. Dig in bag, chomp chomp, dig even loader in bag, chomp chomp etc. I just wanted to rip the bag out of his hands and say really?!?! REALLY?!??! And show him how to eat QUIETLY, made it very hard to focus on my boyfriend on screen. Plus it just made me miss eating popcorn that much more. Have I told you lately how much I love popcorn. All that warm butter and salt sticking to your fingers. The way the salt makes your lips get all pruny. The way the kernels pop in your mouth when you bite into them. (I know you guys know what I am talking about!)

After the movie I came home and helped my life coach and my uncle rearrange the garage. Those two are so funny when the try and do things together work related. I just have to sit back and laugh at them. So cute how they bicker and then make up...My life coach expects my uncle to read her mind, and he just isn't up to date on his mind reading skills so it makes for some 3 more like 2 stooges moments...

This evening I went to visit a friend I haven't seen a little while I was so excited to spend some time with her. We went to dinner. She said that she was going to eat healthy with me, minus leaving out all the carbs (She just couldn't do that she said). I love her for making it easier for me to be good. We both had steak and broccoli and she had potatoes. We talked for a long time about so many things, we had a bit of catching up to do. After dinner we ran over to target to pick up a few things. We (mostly me) were sidetracked by a lot of things we did not need but wanted. She had to keep me in-line. I really needed one of those baby leashes so that I couldn't wander off to far and get lost. I wanted to check out the salad dressing isle. I needed to find some more dressings that fit into our program. We need dressings with 5 grams of fat or less per serving and 3 or less carbs per serving. We spent about 10 minutes looking at the labels of nearly every bottle of dressing they had. And do you know what? I only found 3 that fit the criteria. But at least I found 3. I know, I know, I could make my own but it is so much easier to have someone else do it for me. Not to mention the 5 and 3 but then you need to see if they are using corn syrup or not too. So complicated the world of food is.

Just like the sharks in Finding Nemo who said fish are friends not food...
I say food is food, not my friend!
