Yeah I am a third grader today! This week is teacher appreciate week and so the kids have been doing different things all week for the teachers. As well as the students doing things so is the staff. It is so nice to see educators getting appreciated...doesn't happen as often as it should. Today they brought in flowers. And the office staff got ice cream sundaes for all the teachers. (not me, no ice cream for me) I even got some flowers today. Brings a smile to my face. My class has been great today. Well behaved and stays on task for the most part. I like it when things flow well and I don't spend most of my day sounding like a broken record. Sit down, stop talking, sit down, stop talking, sit down, stop talking. Haven't heard that before have you? This is the same school that I had the 2nd grade class for 5 days. When I see them on campus they wave at me and come up and give me hugs. It is little things like that that remind me of why I want to teach.
After school I went home like usual. I came upstairs to check my facebook (as usual). I can't let my cafeworld cafe spoil all my food so I have to check in on them daily! (Just saying that outloud makes me sound pathetic, oh well you win some you lose some!) I was stilll playing around on the computer when my cousin got home. At this point I had already changed out of my work clothes and had gotten into my comfy cozies when she turned to me with puppy dog eyes and asked if I would please pretty please go with her to the dollar store! My response, "No." I didn't even have to think about it. I was not about to put my clothes back on least of all a BRA! I mean really that is asking a lot just for the stinking dollar store. Then she stuck out her lip. With a deep sigh I dragged my feet to my room to get dressed again...the things we do for those we love! (In case you were all wondering, I did put the bra back on, now that is LOVE!)
