All I have to say about this day is I have no life. I get up go to school come home and do homework. I know wahhhh you big baby you should be lucky you don't have a family and a husband and your going to school full time. Hey, it is still a lot for one person. I have my first day of teaching a lesson tomorrow. I am nervous it is one thing to do it as a sub it is another thing to do it and be graded on it. All i can do is my best and take what they have to say and improve each day. I just have to keep reminding myself of that everyday.
I must hit the books wish me luck tomorrow.

So how was the lesson you taught, Angeweena? I remember doing my own microteaching...my first lesson involved a bowl of flour, various sized rocks, lots of newspaper, and the attempted simulation of creating craters on the moon! Of Course the observing professor just HAD to ask me what was the difference between an asteroid and a meteor...and duh... I didn't know (and still don't!) I made it through those long, long days as the professional student and received my certification...only to find that there are many teachers out there looking for jobs, and very few openings in my area. However I have an interview lined up for July 7th -- wish me luck!!!
ReplyDeleteHang in there and know it will all pay off in the end. You truly will change your students' lives and make the world a better place!!!
