Today is my first day with my new class of 5th graders. I am really looking forward to this. Like with any new situation I am anxious but I am good! I just got comfortable in what I was doing with 2nd graders and now I make the switch to 5th graders. It is going to be tough but it is going to be good. I know I am going to like it here...in the words of Annie from the musical Annie.
I felt like a little lost puppy following my mentor teacher around. It is what it is though, and I am glad that I get along with her. It is going to make it so much easier going forward.
