This is the start of week three. Hmm what new things will I learn in week three. Already I have learned that my cousin and I make some really great shishkabobs! Darn tootin, we do! Soooo good in fact I wanted to eat them all, ALLL by myself. Not a good idea you say? Ruin all my fun why don't you. Kind of like my life coach snatching the raw almonds from my hands telling me I couldn't have anymore unless I was going to count them out and only have what I was ALLOWED to have. What?!?!? Not like it was a cheeseburger or anything? Let me have my almonds and leave me alone! (ok, I am done now, its over, the pain of loosing my almonds has subsided).
I also learned that I can handle going into a grocery store. I went in and actually shopped for stuff. Only got what was on my list, but I did it. It was easier then I thought it was going to be. I have always liked to go to the grocery store. I use it as my stress reducer, or at least I did in the past. I loved to go and read the labels and see all the new things that have come out, you know the usual. But now I have to find some other way to reduce stress, because now going to the store causes stress. (not entirely true but still partly true). Upon exiting the store I smelled their fried chicken cooking, I LOVE fried chicken. I had to hurry my grandmother along and almost throw her into the car so that I wouldn't double back and buy an 8 piece meal to go! Yummy fried chicken....ohh I can just taste the crunch skin and the juicy meat. ohhhhhhh, what joy! (Get a grip Angela, sorry I really am ok, just having a little food envy that all; it will pass. Yup it will pass....just like a kidney stone; painful and slow, but it will pass!)
Let me end with an ode to fried chicken.
oh fried chicken how I love you,
oh fried chicken how I miss you,
oh fried chicken I can't have you,
oh fried chicken I am through with you.
oh fried chicken someday we will meet again,
oh fried chicken I will EAT you then!
(but only just a little)
Love Angela
