Dear Blog; Day 109

Second day of 2nd grade.  The sleeping pill has all worn off and today is much better then yesterday.  I was able to wake up not groggy and actually function.  Feel so much better.  I got a call during class today and they are thinking they want me to come in all next week as well.  Guess the teacher still isn't feeling well.  The art teacher and I joked that maybe she had a break down.  At first I laughed but what if it is true!  That is going to be me after I finish school 2nd graders are going to send me to the looney bin, I dont think I can handle that.  Ok I dont need to go that far into the future.  Back to reality.  They will let me know on monday if they are going to need me for the rest of the week.  It means 4 full days of work and money yeah!  I just hope she is doing ok and it isn't something serious.

After school today I went home.  We are going to see my cousins play tonight.  He is one of the leads in "The Full Monty."  I am a bit scared I haven't seen him in his full monty since we were little, oh except for last summer when there was a bunch of people skinny dipping in my life coachs pool....can we say awkward!  I am going with my cousins and some of their friends and my 85 year old grandma.  It was interesting to say the least.  I have never seen my grandma laugh so hard.  I thought she might need oxygen before the night was over.

Let me back up before we went to the show I made sure to eat so that I wouldn't get to hungry.  I also too  me a bar for a little treat.  I decided to get a little dressed up.  It was a "show" after all.  I put on some pants I haven't worn in a while.  They fit pretty good,  but they will fit better in a month or so; anything at this point is better then the saggy butt pants I have been wearing.  I also put a shirt I haven't worn in a long while either.  I looked pretty good I have to say, not only that but I felt good.  I think that is more important then looking better; I am feeling better!

The show was taboo to say the least.  It was hilarious, risque, awkward, and full of lots of potty humor.  If I had had some dollar bills I would have been waving them in the air it was just so fun!  I was so very proud of my cousin up there.  He is so talented and I love watching him perform.  This is his first leading roll.  Now the show is called the full monty which in case you are wondering translates into monty = naked.  It is well played so you don't see anything but just knowing there is a possiblity gives the show a heightened buzz of excitement.  I highly recommend the show but just know that it is not suitable for children and would come with an R rating.....(for ridiculously funny).

When we got home my life coach and uncle were home and I walked in my aunt just looked at me.  I did a little spin for her.  You could just see the happiness for me on her face.  It really makes me feel good.  I went to bed with a smile on my face and a little extra self esteem in my bank.

A thin layer of self hate removed.

Love Angela
