Just 2 more days. I can handle 2 more days. I know this may sound cheesy but I really want to share with you all some things that i have been working on for projects. I would enjoy any and all feedback. I will explain the following links.
http://youtu.be/90dS-CJIV-s This is a video that I created (never done that before) for a read aloud lesson plan. It is for my technology class and it accompanies the book Punia and the Shark King. I am pretty proud of my video making skills. I only had to make 2 versions of this video...which turned out better the 2nd time(funny how that usually happens). I think the worst part was having to post it on a public viewing site for all the world to see (hangs her head in shame)...lucky me only 14 people have seen it so far so thats good! (most likely 10 of them are from my classmates and me..lol).
http://www.forkintheroadadventure.weebly.com/ This is a possible Project based learning unit (aka. PBL) What I had to do was create a whole project that incorporates the state standards and is project based. Project means just that; its' end result is a project. Schools are going more and more towards project based learning because it involves real world situations while still covering the state standards but is more engaging and indepth for the students.
I share these with you 1 so that you can see what I am up to and 2 because I want to share the things I am learning. I hope you enjoy them.
Today we had our class a paradise bakery. Sooo not where I would have held class but hey no one asked me. I sat for several hours watching people eat amazing cookies, and sandwiches and soups and chips and and and and etc. I ate my medifast meal (which was ok) but I still wanted something. i decided on a spring salad, good choice. I made it. I can be in a carb crazed world and still come out smelling like salad. This isn't going to be easy. This hasn't been easy. BUT I know it will be worth it if I can just stay focused.....
One thin layer of self hate removed.

The Fork in the Road idea is awesome. I wanna do it! Hooray for having some serious self control at the bakery. I know how hard that is.
