I am so sorry my dear blog readers I have been wrapped up in the last couple of days of my dads visit that blogging went by the wayside. But I am back now and focused and I will make sure to stay up on everyday blogging! Because I love you!
Wednesday was a big day of driving and doing things that make my dad happy. We went to Bass Pro shop and we got to feed the fish; trout to be exact. I wanted to jump in and catch them with my teeth so we could have them for dinner. Why with my teeth you may be asking yourself...well simply because it sounded cooler then if I had said I was going to catch them with my hands. My dad and I took to shooting at the shooting gallery, he kept complaining becuase he score was so high the machine stopped keeping score. Apparently they only go to 999 and that is as high as they go. Good for you Dad, just rub it in. I'm left handed and can't hit a target thank you for pointing out my faults! After Bass Pro we met up with my uncle and high tailed it to the Commemorative Air Force Museum in East Mesa. My dad was like a kid in a candy store...ohhhhh candy i could go for something made from real sugar right now; like say a twix, swedish fish, peanut butter m&m's, oh and a cadbury egg! awwwwwwwww yummy yummy. Oh sorry ok back to my dad, he loves old military things. My uncle treated all of us to the museum only thing was we got there just 30 min before it closed. My aunt, uncle and I just sort of strolled around my dad on the other hand was like a busy bee. He was buzzing around from plane to display taking all kinds of pictures of EVERYTHING. He wanted to capture ALL of it on camera. It makes me happy to see my dad happy. It's the little things you know. After the museum we met up with the rest of the family and some friends and headed to dave and busters for some game action. It was so fun. My aunt and dad (they are siblings) played this game where they were pirates; they were shooting things, and steering boats, and driving and so forth. My uncle had to keep saving my aunts life by adding more time to her game. "I'm dying"...uncle swipes the card, aunt back to life and away she goes. Brother, sister love at it's finest.
I haven't talked about food much in this post because for the most part I was focused on other things and I didn't really think about it. I did snack a little too much on peanuts, which had too much sodium and I swelled up like a helium filled balloon, nice huh? And it was a bit harder at dave and busters because naturally at a place like that you want chicken strips, and french fries and don't forget the onion rings. Can you tell that my kryptonite is fried food? Dare I say that being able to say no has become easier? I don't think I will go quite that far tonight but I will say that another successful day has come and gone with many more to go.
Score: Angela: 8 Food: 1
Love Angela
