I feel like I have a hangover except I don't drink. How would I really know what a hangover felt like then, you ask? Well all I can say is if a hangover feels like this I don't ever want to have one. My head is killing me and I just want to sleep. So that is what I did today. I slept and then went to church for a while, then came home and slept. After that we had a family dinner. It was nice to see my cousins. They are very busy with their theater lives and so we don't get to see them much. But tonight we did. I have to say one of the best sounds is laughter. Genuine, from the bottom of your belly, uncontrollable, makes your eyes water; laughter. We do a lot of that around our house. Sometimes, ok often, we have a habit of laughing at inappropriate times and things. (It's sad but true) Makes for some awkward moments..that make us laugh harder. (Singing) I love to laugh...HAHAHAHA long and loud and clear..... HAHAHAHAH (thats from Mary Poppins in case you were wondering).
Things I have learned this week. Let's see.... I have learned that I can be successful on this program. I have also learned that I must continue to drink lots of water and take my medicine like a good girl. I have learned that fatty foods no longer have a place in my life, unless I want to be in the bathroom ( A LOT, I'm just sayin). I have also learned that if you stand on the scale long enough the numbers will still be the same as when you first stepped on it so don't continue to stare at them thinking they will change. And finally I have learned to be a little patient with myself. Not a lot patient yet, just a little. I have to work into the patience thing, its pretty tough to be patient with others let alone yourself. Geesh! Here is to week 10, I am ready for you.
Love Angela
